Note:  This essay is an assumption that came from Comprehensive Knowledge collected over million years of existence on earth.  The soul is created by humans to make them happy because without it life seemed dull and melancholy.  In REALITY does the soul exist?  Who knows? It is probably safe to say in the level of soul there is absolutely NOT KNOWING, but there is recognition that cannot be revealed to the thought.  Intelligence is also coming from the brain and it has limitations to grasp the entire REALITY ; it is only a tool to function, survive and reproduce.  Human Beings are fully equipped and already impeccable, blissful, and flourished and the cognizance comes in and interferes the inherent process.  It is best to leave the mental activity only to behave, exist, and propagate and not to overuse and exhaust; that is one of the causes of suffering.

Throughout of my life I believed that the mind is superior than anything, and devoted time understanding the mind.  As I grew older many experiences passed by with pain and pleasure that triggered my understanding of philosophy of life.  As, I put the mind to be superior, it caused me more harm than good, causing me to work harder and harder for the anticipated reward or for just sustaining life. The mind puts the ego in the much higher place than it deserved welcoming sense gratification, lust, speculating activities, and alcohol consumption. It is astray to give the ego any place higher than it deserves, matter of fact the ego is nothing but illusion causing one to see the distorted reality.

Once you give up the ego, and seek the path of perfection or seek the path of the reality, the consciousness inches higher, and brings the understanding of the self very close to the truth.  This path is not the easier path and requires giving up or sacrificing sense gratification activities.  Once the sense gratification ceases to exist, then you reach in the platform of the mind, and yes it is higher platform than the platform of the senses.  The platform of the senses is higher than bodily platform.  Senses guide the body, and it is the point of communication between external and internal world, and there are five points: Seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting.  At the platform of senses, the senses feel superior, and seek gratification, and that is the cause of wrath in life.  It produces jealousy, anger, hate, desire, lust, etc. and they are like fire, and sense gratification is like the butter on fire, it creates more flame, and the body will get burned, and it is the sources of disease, old age, and suffering in life.  Once you master the senses with the power of mind fixed to the supreme cause or a supreme being with various prayers or meditation, you will begin to see there is something higher than the mind operating to guiding you to the path of the perfection.   The higher platform than the mind is known as the Platform of the Intelligence.  I have written other articles and always touched the four platforms, but missed the platform of the intelligence or linked the intelligence with the mind.  However, there is a distinction between the mind and the Intelligence.  Intelligence controls the mind as mind controls the senses and senses controls the body.

Intelligence is above mind, and that comes from controlling the senses refraining from sense gratification, and fixing the mind to prayer and meditation as well as reading spiritual scriptures or higher conscious scriptures.  Intelligence is like the eagle eye observing the self from hundreds of feet above the ground.  So, in the platform of the intelligence, the mind is calmer and peaceful, working in the higher operating slower yet faster because rushing is stopped.  You don’t need to rush because you will have a much broader view, you can put things in perspective in this platform, and it is better for overall well-being of the self.  And one step higher than the intelligence is the platform of the self, or Atman, or the soul.  And it takes much effort to get to that level of platform.  From this platform, you can communicate with the paramatman or the supreme soul or the supreme being.

There is a process in place to reaching to the highest platform.  However, sometimes due to circumstances one is able to reach without any effort during the time of trauma or suffering. Suffering is placed in human beings to guide to reaching the platform of the self, or atman or soul.  So, the hierarchy of the platform is laid out this way:
1. Platform of the self, atman, or soul (the highest)
2. Platform of the Intelligence
3. Platform of the mind
4. Platform of the senses
5. Platform of the body (the lowest)

So, the intelligence is the bridge between the mind and soul or atman, and soul or atman is the bridge between mind and body and the supreme soul or supreme being. These are the tools given to human beings to achieve self-realization. Once, the self is realized, there is nothing for the human being to do.  He or she becomes independent of the karmic cycle.  Whether one knows or not human being is constantly a puppet of outside influence of planetary pull and push caused by gravitational tension.  The motivation is caused by the planets whether the motivation is coming from money, lust, desire etc.  For immediate seeing the motivation may seem like coming from these sources, but if you notice one may be motivated by money or other maybe by sex or other by love or passion or desire etc. Each motivation may differ according to time because planets are situated differently in different time.  So, human beings are like puppets dancing according to the forces of the immediate planets within our solar system of gigantic planets or stars million times bigger than sun residing in a different galaxy.  The human being is the only independent from these forces in the platform of soul or atman.  At that level, one is free from the strings of forces and able to act on own independently from the forces of the planets and able to perform miracles.

So, for human beings operating in lower platform are subject to planetary influence and karma from previous lives.  They are pulled and pushed causing to be, do, and act in a certain way.  Therefore, no two people are alike, they could be similar, but not alike.  People who are operating in the bodily platform act and do similar things, those operating in the platform of the sense do and act in a similar way, and so forth.  All the dances of life are caused by karma and planetary or higher influence of the cosmos.  The whole universe dances, dancing from the molecular level to the highest level according to the creator’s will.  We are just a tiny particle, just some dust, a flash in the cosmic dance.  Our intelligence guides us and keep us out of trouble, and put in the path of higher platform.  That is the mechanism, but not everyone is able to get there due to karmic episode from previous lives, unless one puts efforts to reach to the platform of the self or soul or atman by performing right duties or via performing meditation, one will remain in karmic cycle or Maya or illusion put here for human beings to perform his duties for a higher purpose.
